Hand-sculpted from polymer clay and nested in a 5x7 inch embellished frame, this woodland reliquary features a crowned rabbit whose noble presence is surrounded by sculpted moss, lichen, and fungi. No detail was spared, from the float of his weathered crown to the textured overgrowth creeping through the frame itself.
This piece speaks to the ancient wild; forgotten realms where animals ruled as guardians of hidden groves, and thrones were carved from bark and time.
Rabbits, in folklore, are liminal creatures. They are messengers between the seen and unseen. The Moss King is an icon of natural sovereignty, protection, and threshold wisdom. Place him near your altar, bookshelf, or hearth to invoke the energy of hidden kingdoms.
