The Wicker Rabbit is the creative vision of Chicago-based artist and maker, Zephyr Anemoi. Rooted in a lifelong love of folklore, vintage oddities, and quiet magic, Zephyr’s work blends handcrafted techniques with an eye for story-rich details and natural textures.

The name was inspired by a cherished family heirloom—a velvet toy rabbit stitched over a woven rattan frame—whose quiet, handmade beauty sparked a deep fascination with objects that feel both personal and otherworldly. That sense of wonder still guides every piece created in the studio today.

Working with various mediums and repurposed objects, Zephyr creates unique pieces that straddle the line between the fantastical and the practical—from nature-inspired home accents to wearable art and whimsical curiosities.

Outside the studio, Zephyr shares life with his husband of 15 years and their cat Ludo.
